"Treasure at the end of the rainbow 🌈✨"
I ordered my Pimlico 4-seater sofa along with a footstool at the end of October, and it finally showed up on February 14th. Sure, it took a while, but Steve's communication through eBay messenger was top-notch. The hold-up was because of a foam shortage, but I got compensated and received some nice extras. The sofa is really high quality and fits perfectly in my space; it's so great that I ended up placing another order. If you're in the waiting game for your sofa, trust me, it's totally worth it. Big shoutout to Steve for keeping me in the loop!

"Decent sofa, but management needs work"
I just got my three-seater sofa that I ordered back in November. While I'm happy with the sofa itself, I wouldn't want to deal with Lincote's again. I don't agree with those who call this company a scam, but I totally get why folks feel that way after dealing with their customer service.

When I made the order, I knew there was a foam shortage and was told there’d be a maximum delay of a week, which I was cool with. But in reality, it took about 3 to 4 weeks longer than they estimated, and that was only because I kept following up (which is way better than what others have gone through). Their phone lines are down, and honestly, I think they’re being a bit shady about it. First, they said it was due to moving offices and would be back 'by Monday' for weeks, then they closed for Christmas. I’m not sure what the excuse is now. I mostly reached out through Facebook messenger, where, to be fair, they did offer me a different model that was in stock.

I tried to cancel my order when I got suspicious after spotting the same sofa photos on Wayfair (turns out there’s a central supplier for both companies, so it’s not a scam). They told me that canceling before delivery would hit me with a 20% fee (which isn’t enforceable under UK law) because they were “so late in the production stage.” But they had just told me via Facebook that production hadn’t even started yet. They claimed my complaint about their poor communication was unfair since they were closed for Christmas, even though I had emailed them before they shut down around the 18th/19th and didn’t get an automatic reply like I usually do when they’re closed.

To avoid any legal mess, I decided to give them a chance and didn’t cancel the order, waiting for it to show up. During this time, I got in touch with a customer service rep named Steve, who I guess is their go-to for tough customers! He was super proactive, keeping me updated and spending a lot of time checking in with the production team. The sofa itself is just like the pictures, really nice quality, good value, and the delivery service they use is top-notch.

In summary, while the product is solid, the management is lacking, and the customer service and communication are pretty poor until things get really urgent. I feel like the production team is doing their best to catch up on about 200 back orders. The real issue lies with the company and management, who keep advertising a “4-7 weeks” delivery timeframe when they know that’s just not realistic. These empty promises are piling up backorders, and they’re not fixing the situation.

"Sofa Order with Lincotes: Nearly 3 Months Later..."
I placed an order for a sofa with Lincotes nearly three months back, and they told me it would take about 4 to 7 weeks for delivery. Here I am, still waiting for my order. They mentioned a foam shortage as the reason for the delay, but I got a confirmation that the sofa was supposed to leave the warehouse. Yet, no estimated delivery date has been provided. I've had to keep reaching out to Lincotes since they haven't been giving me any updates, and they even ignored my last email after I threatened to contact trading standards. Honestly, I feel like this company is a total scam!

"Still Waiting for My Sofa: A Frustrating Experience"
After seeing the recent feedback about late deliveries, I find myself in a similar situation.

I placed an order for two sofas costing around 1000 pounds at the end of October, and I didn’t hear anything until I reached out a couple of times. That’s when they finally confessed there was an issue with the foam supply.

From what I’ve read in other reviews, it seems they took my order knowing there was already a problem.

What’s more, they haven’t updated their website to show this issue, and they’re still accepting new orders.

I’ve tried contacting them again, but I’m getting no replies to my emails or voicemails left on their customer support line.

I did manage to get in touch through Facebook messenger, and they took my info, promising to pass it on to the 'relevant department'—whatever that’s supposed to mean.

It’s pretty embarrassing since I had a long chat with my wife about whether to support our local manufacturer or just go for a generic DFS-style sofa.

Usually, folks who leave one-star reviews can come off as a bit 'ranty', but after reading all these comments, I totally get where they’re coming from. It’s the same for me. They really need to step up their game in terms of keeping customers informed about what’s going on.

"My Experience with 2 x 2 Seater Lincotes Kassel Sofas"
I ordered a pair of 2 x 2 seater lincotes Kassel sofas from this seller. They showed up damaged, and the cushions were all over the place in terms of firmness. I got them through Ebay. When I let Lincotes know I had opened a dispute with Ebay, they reached out asking me to cancel it. Good thing I didn’t. They promised to fix the problems, but nothing happened. The quality of these sofas is really poor. Lincotes claims they’re made in Wales, UK, but then mentioned they were waiting for my replacement cushion infills to arrive in the UK. I suspect these sofas are imported, likely made cheaply in China. Their customer service and aftercare are basically nonexistent. Steer clear of this company at all costs. I won my dispute with Ebay, and then I started getting threatening, slanderous, and harassing emails from them. They even accused me of theft and whatnot. Seriously, whatever you do, don’t buy from this company.

"Thrilled with my new couch"
I’m super thrilled with my new couch! I bought one from a big-name store for more than £2000, and it doesn’t even come close to how comfy my Lincote sofa is! Plus, it was such a steal. Totally recommend it! 😃

"Disappointing Shopping Experience..."
Honestly, it was a pretty rough experience. The sofas showed up in just 5 days, but only one was in good shape when it got here. They mentioned a £50 goodwill gesture, but I pointed out that the box was damaged right where the sofa was messed up! They suggested I might've done it with my vacuum. To cut to the chase, after a bunch of messages and calls, they finally agreed to swap the sofa. Three weeks later, they delivered the replacement, but it was the wrong color and missing the feet! At that point, I was really fed up. I kept pushing for a refund. They came to pick up both sofas and I got my full refund in 5 days. Just to clarify, the sofas were faux leather, not the real deal.

"Chic and Trendy Couches"
I purchased a 2 and 3 seater couch from the asti collection. These sofas are super stylish, and when a spring popped out, the company was cool about it and replaced the sofa for me, which they did.

"Montesola 2-Seater Couches"
All in all, I'm quite pleased. I got myself the Montesola 2-seater couches. They're gorgeous, and the leather has a nice look to it. They came in a box, and I had to put the backs together and attach the feet, but it was an easy task. Everything was neatly packed away in the bottom of the couch.

My only little issue was that I had to ring up three days after placing my order to check on its status. The order hadn't updated. They told me they had just gotten stock of the couches that day, and I heard from the delivery guy the next day. The couches showed up a week after I ordered, so that was a solid timeline.

"Cozy and Comfortable"
I'm pleased with the couches and the speedy delivery. Just one downside to mention. When I checked out the sofas online, the legs appeared to be a dark brown or black, but when they arrived, the legs were silver. So, I had to go and purchase different feet for the sofa.

"Just one of my couches showed up..."
So, I only got one of my couches delivered, and the delivery guys were adamant about leaving the super damaged box right in the center of my living room. They said, 'Hold onto the box for two weeks, just in case it has to go back?'
